I’m Ready to Serve
I Have a Question About Serving
First Impressions:
First Impressions is the team that will leave the first and lasting impression on those who walk through the doors of Foothills Community Church. From directing traffic outside, to making sure that guests feel welcome inside and even get a donut with their coffee, you will have plenty of chances to meet those who come to Foothills.
Campus Support:
If you decide to serve on this team you can be the first person to call a first time guest on behalf of Foothills Community Church, volunteer in our office during the week, or even help fold the fliers that get handed out on Sunday mornings. This area of service also includes facilities maintenance, painting, carpentry, and other similar responsibilities.
Care and Outreach:
This team is essential for the care of those who attend Foothills Community Church as well as those who are in the community. On this team you can get involved in mentoring, our prayer team, or our service project team.
KidZone:
Do you love teaching or working with kids? Then this is the place for you to volunteer! In KidZone you can either volunteer as a check-in attendant, as a greeter, or even work with the children in Discovery Kidz (6 weeks to K5) or Planet Kidz (K5 to 6th Grade). A background check will be required for all KidZone volunteers.
Thrive:
Thrive is our middle school to high school student ministry which meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. You can volunteer to help in many different areas with Thrive such as being a check-in attendant, helping with crowd control, leading a life group, serving with the tech team, or even sign up to help prepare meals. A background check will be required for all Thrive volunteers.
Connections:
In this area of service you will be connecting people to serve opportunities, other ministries in the church, and events that are coming up on the calendar. You can also apply to become a Group Leader and prepare study materials for your group meetings.
Tech Arts and Worship:
This area of service offers many different ways to volunteer which includes Sunday morning production with cameras, lights and audio, playing an instrument or even singing with the worship team. You can also volunteer with graphic design, video editing, or stage set designs throughout the week.
